Hula Hoop brighter and bolder! If you’re a lover of colours and want to express yourself with your hoop, this is the one for you!
These beginner hoops are made by hand here in New Zealand and taped using 3 colours of grip-tape for extra dazzle!
These hula hoops are loved by beginners because of their design that suits learning! They have a slightly weighted (MDPE) tubing and are taped using quality grip tape that helps the hoop stick to the body easier! This design makes learning experiences easier, more time hooping, less time picking the hoop up off the floor!
We recommend, for new hoopers, a standard size of 36inch diameter. Some hoopers who are taller or wider may wish to choose a larger size such as 38 or 40 Inch. However, we find that on average 36Inch is a great size to learn both on-body hula hooping and beginner off-body tricks. You can view our sizing chart for help with selecting a size.
All our hula hoops are travel hoops! This mean they coil down to about half the size, making them perfect for taking with you everywhere you go!
We make each of our orders as we get them! This means that there may be a short construction time of 2-5 days while the pixies build your hoop. We then post using NZ Post with an average shipping time of 3 days for New Zealand and a little longer for Australia. Secure check out is available though Visa, MasterCard and PayPal!
We value your security and privacy, for this reason we provide secure checkout and promise to keep your details private.
We can not take responsibility for anyone who contracts hoop-bliss-itis. This is an infectious but delicious hooping obsession, as far as we know, it is not deadly but may result in killer abs.

Absolute fun! I loved the quick turn around from hoop being ordered to delivery to my front door. It's exactly how I envisaged: nicely made by pixies in their workshop powered by solar, my brightly chosen colours for a funky look, and fun to use. I put on my music and whoosh, I'm off hooping for the first time in decades. Thanks you guys at Pixie X
